Paris Restaurant Week: The capital sits down to eat

Paris Restaurant Week: The capital sits down to eat

From November 1 to 30, 2025, Paris will celebrate its very first Restaurant Week — an entire month devoted to gastronomy, culinary discovery, and the joy of sharing a good meal.
It’s a dream opportunity to (re)discover the capital’s finest dining spots — from the cozy neighborhood bistro to the discreet Michelin-starred table — through exclusive menus and exceptional dining experiences.

A Feast for the Senses

Inspired by the New York concept and already adopted by several major international cities, Paris Restaurant Week is finally arriving in the world’s culinary capital.
Organized by DiningCity, the event follows a simple yet irresistible idea: throughout November, participating restaurants will offer a special prix-fixe menu created especially for the occasion — often accompanied by a little extra, such as a glass of champagne, an amuse-bouche, or an off-menu surprise.

The goal? To give all food lovers — Parisians and visitors alike — the chance to enjoy outstanding meals at affordable prices, while celebrating the rich culinary diversity of the City of Light.

How It Works

Starting October 20, 2025, reservations open on the official website restaurantweek.fr.
Diners can then browse and filter participating restaurants by district, price range, type of cuisine, or atmosphere.
Once you’ve found your ideal table, simply book your lunch or dinner, and let yourself be carried away by the experience.

Each restaurant designs its own menu, but the promise remains the same: a unique creation that showcases the chef’s talent and the finest seasonal ingredients.
Some renowned establishments — such as Prévelle Française and Le Petit Commines — are already teasing five-course menus at special event prices, complete with a complimentary glass of champagne or a sweet surprise.

A Showcase for Parisian Gastronomy

Beyond the sheer pleasure of fine dining, Paris Restaurant Week also aims to be a driving force for the restaurant industry.
Since November is traditionally a quieter month for many establishments, the event offers an opportunity to revitalize dining rooms, attract new guests, and highlight the creativity of Paris’s chefs.

“It’s a way to make haute cuisine more accessible while showcasing the diversity of Paris’s dining scene,” explains a DiningCity spokesperson. “From contemporary brasseries to Michelin-starred tables, there’s room for everyone.”

An Invitation to Explore

This culinary celebration is also an open invitation to curiosity.
Far from focusing solely on the city’s most famous names, the event shines a spotlight on emerging chefs, world cuisines, and bold new concepts.
It’s the perfect time to step out of your comfort zone and discover the flavors that keep Paris’s culinary heart beating.

For lovers of fine food, it’s also the perfect excuse to indulge — whether it’s a lunch with friends, a romantic dinner, or a spontaneous treat while wandering through one of Paris’s iconic neighborhoods.
